Furniture by Bruce Hamilton

Bruce Hamilton Furniture Makers is acknowledged as a producer of fine quality Charles Rennie Mackintosh reproduction furniture. Bruce has undertaken many Mackintosh commissions for private clients and commercial outlets. His work has received acknowledgements from both the Glasgow School of Art (GSA) and the Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society which is based at the Queen’s Cross Church in Glasgow. Notable commissions include Dining Room furniture for House for an Art Lover in Glasgow and both Directors’ Room and Boardroom chairs for the GSA.

In the Summer of 2004, as part of the Scottish and French celebration of 100 years of the Entente Cordiale, Bruce was invited by the GSA to exhibit his CRM furniture in Port Vendres, France. This unique exhibition provided visitors with an extraordinary insight into the wide-ranging aspects of Mackintosh's work as an architect, designer and water colourist.
